I typically do newborn sessions in my home studio however an on-location set up is available for an additional fee. Sessions book up fast, so please contact me as soon as you can to see if I have time available when your newborn is due. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Please share your due date with me and I will leave options open for you in my schedule around that due date. If your due date or circumstances change please contact me as soon as possible.

When your newborn arrives, it is important to contact me (or have your spouse/partner or other family member contact me) as soon as possible to schedule our session. Newborn sessions must be done in the first two weeks after they are born. Once that time period passes I cannot guarantee that there is still room in my schedule to accommodate your newborn. Furthermore, infants also become much harder to pose once those first two weeks pass. Failure to contact me and schedule your photo shoot within that timeline does not constitute a refund of the deposit.

The best time to do a newborn photo shoot is when your baby has a full tummy and is feeling sleepy. A space heater, hair dryer, or just having a very warm room will encourage them to sleep and be comfortable, along with noise made by either a vacuum cleaner the hair dryer or white noise machine.

*General Information*
At this time my schedule and circumstances dictate that sessions must be booked well in advance. Typically photo shoots are booked 2-4 months or more ahead of time. Please contact me as early as possible to secure your session.

My home studio is available for newborn through elementary school aged children. Photo shoots for more than 3 young children at a time, older children, adults, and families must be done on location. The outdoor areas of my home are available for some shots though they don't provide us with enough options to constitute a full-length photo shoot.

When you book a session you are reserving space on my calendar that I cannot use for other photo shoots or my own personal time. Because of this, most portrait sessions require a $25 non-refundable deposit due at booking, $50 for newborn sessions. The remaining balance of your session cost is due at the time of the photo shoot. If a client cancels due to emergency or illness, best efforts will be made to accommodate a reschedule where the deposit can be transferred to a new date/time, however this is subject to the availability of the photographer.

If I must cancel our session and we cannot arrange a reschedule that is suitable to your needs and time frame, you will be granted a refund of your deposit.

Sessions may be cancelled due to inclement weather. When this happens we will make best efforts to reschedule in a time frame that is suitable to both myself and the client, however if this isn't possible then the deposit will be refunded.

Delivery of your CD/DVD of images may take up to 5 weeks for most portrait sessions and 4-6 weeks for weddings. In cases where an image may be desired immediately (e.g. a newborn announcement) I can make arrangements to show you the unedited images and allow you to choose up to 5 images that you would like edited and delivered to you via email immediately.
